What we collect

When you use Aliyah Advisor, we collect:

  • Account information: your email address and (if you sign in with Google) your name and avatar.
  • Profile information: anything you tell us during onboarding or in chat — family structure, location, timing, community preferences, religious lifestyle, housing and employment situation.
  • Chat messages: the questions you ask and the answers our advisor gives, kept so you can return to your conversation.
  • IP-based usage signals: hashed IP addresses for guest rate limiting (we never store raw IPs).

How we use it

We use this information to provide the service, personalize your advisor's answers, and maintain a usable record of your Aliyah journey. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising on top of it.

AI processing

Your chat messages are processed by Anthropic (the company behind the Claude AI model) to generate responses. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models without explicit consent. See Anthropic's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

Data retention

Chat messages, profile information, and any documents associated with your account are kept until you delete your account. When you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request export of your data, deletion of your account, or correction of anything we hold by emailing us. We're building self-serve account management — until then, email is the way.

Cookies

We use a small set of cookies necessary to keep you signed in (Supabase auth cookies). We do not use third-party advertising or behavior-tracking cookies.
